The Perils of Home Buying
I had just purchased a charming, old Victorian house in the heart of Kensington and
Chelsea. Bursting with excitement, I couldn’t wait for my family and me to move in and
make it our own. We had already employed a team of cleaners to ensure the place was
spotless and ready for us to settle in.
Finally, moving day arrived, and we began the process of transporting our belongings into
our new home. However, I couldn’t help but notice that our dog seemed unusually drawn
to a particular wall. At first, I dismissed it as mere curiosity, but his persistence piqued my
interest.
Intrigued and slightly concerned, my wife and I decided to investigate what could be hidden
within the wall that had captured our dog’s unwavering attention. To our astonishment, we
discovered the remains of a deceased cat concealed within the structure, leaving us both
bewildered and somewhat saddened by the unexpected find.
